The 3rd event of the year saw 9 pilots fly 9 rounds of F5J in very windy and low lift (sink) conditions. The conditions improved slightly in the afternoon, but not much. The scores indicated the poor conditions with most groups winning with scores of less than 6 minutes and no one getting 10 minutes for the entire day.

There were a great range of planes and setups being used with Radians (4 off) being the most popular.  

As an experiment Gerry entered with his F3B glider and used a a winch to launch, but other than that the scoring applied exactly the same way and it worked well.
