Hi all,
The Thermal league event was held on Sunday as part of the F3B event. Graham Norman flew his Agida and showed great thermal skills in difficult (very cyclic) conditions and was the only one not to drop significant flight time. Marcus finished second flying his 2.7Kg Machine and David third with his Fosa. Interestingly there was only 35 points between 2nd and 6th.

The 2 x Distance tasks flown in the middle of the Thermal day were a great success giving Daniel and Tom a chance to fly distance with their thermal models. Daniel won their first encounter 19 to 15 and then Tom got his revenge 17 to 9 in the second. They thoroughly enjoyed the challenge and recommended we do it again in the future. The 2 rounds of distance took less than 1.5 hrs to run and we only stopped at 6 Rounds (4PM) because of the 35 degree heat.
