Events

This weekends events include 4 things:

1. It is RCGA league event #4 on Saturday 19th January from 10AM to 5PM

2. It is RCGA League event #5 on Sunday 20th January from 10AM to 3PM

3. It is the Victorian State F3K Championships which is the conbined result of the two League Events.

4. It is the F3K World Championship Selection Trials which is the result of both days events including droppers as per the FAI rules. Details for this event are as follows:

F3K world Championsip Selection Trials:

The MAAA has approved the RCGA proposal to hold the F3K (R/C Hand Launch Glider) World Championship selection trials at Diggers Rest, Victoria, on 19/20 January 2013.

Format:
It will be a single trial, held over two days.

Date:
19/20 January 2013, with the backup date being 2/3 February 2013.

Entry Fee:
The entry fee is $5 and entry can be made on the day.

Rules:
We will fly to the current F3K rules with no fly-off rounds.

Selection Criteria:
There are three positions available on the team and they will be offered from first place downward. Only flyers from the first six place are eligible to accept a position (an MAAA requirement for this event). 

Event Specifics:
Pilot Briefing is at 9:30AM with flying to start at 10AM each day and finish at 5PM on Saturday and 3PM on Sunday. 
Due to the owners wishes, please do not enter the field before 9AM, please obey the speed limits and there is strictly no smoking on the field.

Lunch:
We will do a lunch run to the local bakery.

We can organise for someone to pick you up and transport you to and from the flying field, Airport and Motel for any Interstate pilots who wish to attend.
